A member of our Criminal Defence team will represent the insured driver during interview by the police, whether at a police station or in their home.
We will always advise the driver beforehand and ensure that he is fully prepared for the interview, fully understands his rights and can decide whether to give a voluntary statement under caution.
The team has a long established record of working constructively with the police, cooperating where it achieves the best outcome and taking tough action to protect the driver’s interests when it is necessary.
The police station interview is the first line of defence against a pending prosecution. A successful interview frequently prevents a prosecution being brought at all.
