Alex has worked as a personal injury lawyer since 1999 defending employers liability, public liability and motor claims on behalf of insurers. She joined Greenwoods' newly opened Manchester office in 2007 and was appointed Associate Partner in 2010.

Alex handles high value bodily injury claims and assists on catastrophic cases arising from spinal and head injury and involving periodical payments, accommodation and care issues. Alex also handles inquests and motor and HSE prosecution work.

Notable case: Kotke - V - Saffarini (CA) (2005) - Dependency claim "living together in the same household for at least 2 years before death"

When not at work Alex enjoys travelling, scuba diving, cycling, cooking and music.
