Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and has
been handling the defence of personal injury claims on behalf of
the insurance industry ever since. Peter has undertaken work for
the majority of the major insurers in the UK and in the last 15
years has developed a specialism in handling cases involving injuries
of maximum severity; particularly traumatic brain injury, spinal
injury and multiple amputation. “Peter Crossland has recently been advising on a string of motor accident cases, with injury expertise that covers spinal, head and amputation cases. Clients have ‘every confidence in getting the right advice and the best possible outcome in the case’.” Notable cases include: Pell v Moseley Court of Appeal (2003) – successful appeal in relation to the contributory negligence of a motorcyclist. Peter is married with four daughters and is an enthusiastic cyclist. He has cycled from London to Marseille, including a detour up Mont Ventoux; and in 2010 will be cycling from Marseille to Portofino and has also entered the “Maratona dles Dolomites”. Other interests include skiing and shooting (but not at the same time). |
