Michael joined Greenwoods in 2008. He qualified as a solicitor in 1997 initially handling a mix of commercial litigation and both claimant and defendant personal injury. Since 1999 Michael has concentrated on handling a wide range of solely defendant motor, EL and PL claims for insurers. In addition, Michael has represented the insured at the Coroners, Magistrates and Crown Courts and has advised and represented insurers in proceedings relating to insurance contracts.

More recently, Michael has focused on cases involving injuries of maximum severity. He has also put his Business Law degree to good use by conducting the defence of claims involving complex accountancy and actuarial evidence.

Michael’s passion is football. His lack of any real ability in the sport has been the legal professions gain. He plays the guitar although strictly for his own enjoyment and public performances are thankfully rare. He has two young children whose honesty ensures that he is constantly kept informed of his inadequacies.
