Mike joined Greenwoods as a partner in 2007 having been involved in insurance related litigation since 1984 when he was admitted as a solicitor. Mike has spent his professional life in Manchester working exclusively for insurers. He specialises in the defence of motor, employers, public and product liability claims with an emphasis, more recently,in catastrophic injury claims. Mike has also developed an interest in counter fraud. Notable cases ( both Court of Appeal ) include:
Outside of the law, Mike has a masochistic interest in the ''fortunes'' of Manchester City and he also enjoys travel, wine and walking - all of which enable him to escape, on occasion, from the demands of his two young daughters. |
