Simon qualified in 1991. Having spent 5 years working for a City practice on multi-party product liability claims, he moved to a south coast practice where he worked exclusively for insurers in defending motor and employer's liability personal injury claims at all levels. During this time Simon developed particular expertise in credit hire and contentious costs and became the joint head of the defendant insurance litigation team.

Simon joined Greenwoods in 2005 and now works from the Milton Keynes office. He became an associate partner in 2007 . Simon leads one of the motor claims teams, continues to handle higher value motor claims as well as dealing with the full range of liability claims including employer's liability and industrial disease cases. In addition to his legal work, Simon has played a significant role in the development and enhancement of Greenwoods' case management system.

Outside of work, Simon is kept very busy with three energetic children and two labradors and in what remains of his spare time enjoys photography and gardening.
