Greenwoods Expansion Continues

Leading insurance law firm moves to larger city centre premises

Greenwoods Solicitors, the leading insurance law practice, is moving to new offices at 57 Spring Gardens in Manchester city centre.

The move has become a necessity as the firm has grown rapidly since it opened its first office in Manchester at York Street in the Autumn of 2007, headed by Mike Suddards and one assistant solicitor.

Now, less than three years later there are four partners and a headcount of over 25 and, following the absorption of additional floor space at York Street, the firm has simply outgrown the premises.

Commenting on the move, Mike Suddards said:

“We started in 2007 with a great deal of ambition and have comfortably exceeded all our expectations, in terms of the quality and number of clients as well as our ability to recruit the finest legal talent in Manchester. The first 2,000 square foot was filled within eighteen months and an additional 1,000 square foot taken on at York Street has also proved insufficient.

“Greenwoods is the most progressive firm in Manchester and I expect to reach our next target of 50 lawyers at Spring Gardens, where we are taking over 5,000 square feet, by the end of 2011.”

Greenwoods’ Senior Partner Paul Parsons added:
“We made an important decision to open in Manchester and have recruited very well. Our colleagues offer first class service and have established excellent relationships with insurers and others who have referred large numbers of cases to Greenwoods.
“We have made a significant impact on the Manchester legal scene and will continue to do so!”
