Two new associates join Greenwoods team.
Mark Aitken and Marise Gellert have both joined the Property Insurance and Construction Group, Mark within the Commercial Fraud Unit and Marise Gellert within the Utilities Sector Unit. Welcoming their appointment to Greenwoods, Richard Houseago, who heads the Group, said: " We are delighted that Mark and Marise have joined us.They are both recognised specialists in their fields and their wealth of experience will add significantly to the depth of service we offer."
Mark specialises in property and commercial claims involving fraud and related policy coverage issues. He has extensive experience of high value and complex claims involving arson, staged theft and other deliberate or exaggerated damage.In addition to "first party" fraud, Mark also acts for insurers and other commercial clients the victims of employee or supplier fraud. He has considerable experience of freezing injunctions and pursuing recoveries in such cases.
Marise's practice has a bias towards the construction and electrical industries. She advises on policy coverage issues and defending employers' and public liability claims. She also deals with tree root, subsidence and property damage claims.
