Information technology plays a central role at Greenwoods in keeping us, and our clients, flexible, responsive, competitive and profitable. We invest heavily in it, and employ two full-time programmers to ensure that it evolves to anticipate and meet our clients’ changing needs.
Since we are totally focussed on the insurance sector, we have been able to design and develop our IT systems specifically for service delivery to that sector. Many law firms talk of ‘partnering’ their clients; our IT enables us to be an integral part of our clients’ operations.
Our case management system is infinitely flexible and user-definable. Each of our clients, and each type of case we undertake for them, has its own caseflow system designed around their requirements.
Our usual practice is to produce customised monthly or quarterly reports to give the client an overview of all outstanding and settled claims and the opportunity to assess our performance and measure any improvements in claims handling.
We further integrate with our clients by giving them secure online access to our case management system. Through Greenwoods Online, they can access files, view their cases, monitor progress and send instructions to our lawyers. It is simple to use and our programmers will visit clients to provide training, if necessary.
