Assistant Solicitor
(Fraudulent Property Insurance Claims)
LONDON
We have a new vacancy for an Assistant Solicitor to join our Property Insurance & Construction group, based in our London office.
This position has arisen due to expansion of work relating specifically to complex / high value property fraud claims, typically involving arson, staged theft and other deliberate damage.
Applicants must have up to 5 years PQE and be fully conversant with CPR and able to run a caseload from start to finish.
The successful candidate will have a strong commercial litigation background, preferably with experience of property/commercial insurance disputes involving fraud and related policy coverage issues. Applicants must be interested in a varied and challenging role with the necessary forensic skills and aptitude for defending fraudulent claims.
Good IT Skills and experience of using a Case Management system are an advantage. We are looking for a team player with good communication and organisational skills. An ability to work well under pressure, keep to deadlines and use their own initiative is also essential. We would expect the successful candidate to have excellent client care skills.

Claims Handlers
(Fraud)
LONDON and MANCHESTER
We are currently seeking experienced claims handlers to join the Counter Fraud Group in both our London and Manchester offices.
The successful candidate will run a caseload independently consisting of pre- and post-litigated files, involving suspected fraudulent motor insurance claims including low impact velocity claims, contrived/staged/induced accidents, theft, exaggerated claims and those involving bogus passengers.
The successful candidate will have experience in the above areas, be fully conversant with CPR and be able to run their own caseload from start to finish. They will have an eye for detail and be able to make rapid decisions and judgments. Previous experience of the insurance industry, and use of a case management system are required.

Criminal Lawyer
MILTON KEYNES
We are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our expanding Criminal team in Milton Keynes.
The role involves dealing with police prosecutions, PACE interviews and inquests arising from RTAs. The successful candidate have 5+ years PQE and will have previous experience in criminal, civil and personal injury law. Police station accreditation is preferable but not essential. Candidates must be confident and able to deal with difficult situations, and previous experience of managing people would be an advantage.
We are looking for a team player with excellent IT and analytical skills and an enthusiasm for this area of work. Experience of working with a case management system, the ability to work under pressure, keep to deadlines and prioritise your work is essential, while working closely with the other members of the team. Some out of hours police station work will be required as necessary.
