We are seeking claims handlers to join our delegated team in Milton Keynes. The role is a mixed one involving handling your own portfolio of motor claims up to £50K on behalf of a major insurer client whilst assisting other members of the team. Ideally with an insurance background, the main requirements are the ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure, fluency with IT, good communication skills and a common sense practical approach to claims.

Assistant Solicitor/Legal Assistant - EL/PL team
MILTON KEYNES
The Liability team clients include a major electricity supplier in the UK dealing with the majority of their EL/PL claims. The caseload for this role will consist of small EL/PL and motor claims, on behalf of local authorities, bus companies and garages, but with some higher value EL/PL and disease claims on behalf of the electricity supplier. The majority of the cases are up to £50K. There would be some involvement with health and safety prosecutions for a major insurer client assisting one of the Partners.
You will need to demonstrate an ability to run your own caseload with a minimum of supervision and have previous experience of EL/PL, PI litigation and Disease claims.
